Summary:
Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is a national leader in the healthcare field, and a model for comprehensive, community-based healthcare in rural Colorado. The building design was a challenge of modernizing and upgrading a 30-year-old commercial space into a beautiful and luxurious building. The structure houses administration, business office, human resources, data entry, information systems, purchasing, maintenance, storage, dental records, a dental clinic, and the SLV Community Connections program.

The architect, Albert Moore, worked closely with VWHS administration, employees and Colorado Construction. The building design reflects the corporate logo - the Medicine Wheel. Architectural elements accentuate the circular design of the Medicine Wheel throughout this rural health system headquarters.
