After several additions and remodels, the Regional Medical Center's third floor had become outdated and rarely used. Construction to remodel the center's third floor is scheduled to begin the 4th quarter of 2003 and is schedule to be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2004. It is anticipated that additional remodeling will continue until the entire 1st and 3rd floors are updated to state-of-the-art design for medical facilities.
