Summary:
The San Luis Valley Medical Clinic was designed to meet the needs of a rural population catering to multiple medical professional specialties and services. The building was designed to meet the needs of physicians, surgeons, nurses and staff who serve this varied population from geriatrics to pediatrics. The 40,000 square foot building is complete with physician exam rooms, out-patient surgical center, Radiologic services, administrative offices and pharmaceutical facilities.

The building also houses a laboratory, Audiology Department, Echocardiography, Ultrasound, and Bone Densitometry in addition to internal departments such as the business office and medical records.

The scope of the project included not only a convenient location, easy access and state-of-the-art medical/surgical facilities, but a two story building that is the most attractive and spacious medical facility in the area. Efficient exam rooms, offices with windows, bright interiors, open foyer and reception area are just a few of the design elements that portray a warm but professional atmosphere. The clinic is centrally located and was designed to meet the medical specialty needs of the entire San Luis Valley.
