HEALTH CARE PORTFOLIO
Hospice del Valle
514 Main Street
Alamosa, CO 81101
Summary:
Hospice del Valle spent their first 22 years in rental spaces
and are very pleased to have their own building on Main
Street in Alamosa. In addition to the new location, and
the new building they also have a memorial garden area
where families can spend time in memory of a loved one.
The
new Hospice del Valle building was originally a warehouse
that has recently been turned into a warm and friendly
place that provides an important community service. The 5000
sq.
ft. building was constructed to include a 1800 sq. ft.
conference room, in addition to a spacious reception area,
administrative
offices, billing services, the Director's office, staff
offices, kitchen and bathroom areas. Because of the nature
of the
services they provide, private rooms were created for family
support and grief recovery.
The conference room was designed
to meet the needs of non-profit groups who require adequate
meeting space. The conference
room can seat 70-80 people comfortably. From the kitchen
and conference room, to the reception area, the building
was truly designed and built to meet the needs of a rural
hospice provide., their clients and families.
Testimonial: " We were very pleased with the attention
to detail we received from the Colorado Construction Staff.
It
was a
pleasure working with them again, almost 10 years after our
first encounter on the La Jara Services Building. They were
all very accommodating and sensitive to our specific needs."
